Volunteers needed at Water Festival 2026

I’m reaching out regarding this year’s Chatham-Kent & Lambton Children’s Water Festival, occurring October 6-8, 2026.

Please let me know if you are able to volunteer for bus arrivals/departures and vehicle parking help for all 3 days again this year.

We are also looking for volunteers for tent set up (Sunday, October 4th at 10am), activity centre set up (Monday, October 5 at 9am), and festival takedown (Thursday, October 8th, after 1:30pm). If you are able to help with this as well, it would be greatly appreciated!

More Books for More Children

Somewhere in Chatham‑Kent, a child will open their September book this week — and that book will be number 25,000. Reaching this milestone would never have been possible without the many supporters and donors across Chatham‑Kent, and even beyond our municipality. THANK YOU!!

25000 books gifted through the Imagination Library of Chatham-Kent.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

The 100 Women Who Care Chatham-Kent recently announced that their next donation will be for the Chatham Kent Imagination Library! This could not come at a better time. Since Dolly’s passing we have seen a huge interest in this program resulting in more than 200 registrations just in August. With this donation we will be able to gift at least 2500 more books. Thank you so much for your continued support!
