Paulais a Canadian children's author who is a registered nurse, mother of 2 and grandmother of 2 who lives in Chatham-Kent. Paula's third book "Grammy & Grampy went Camping" includes a flashback, with the grandparents sharing a story with their grandchildren about an experience they had with their own children. "It's all about family being together and it's about enjoying the adventure together. All of my books are about family." The first two books in the series include Grammy & Grampy Were Grounded and G & G's Mystery Trip. Paula will share her books with us as she considers her own childhood experiences that influenced the author she is today. The speaker will be Sheila Gibbs, author of a new novel “Murder on the Thames”. This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the club’s newest service project as we assist with the Saturday Morning Breakfast Program at the church.
(There is an elevator for those who can’t do stairs).
Please reserve parking near the church for those members unable to walk from the Downtown Chatham Centre parking lot.
