A message from 2020-21 Kiwanis International President Art Riley: Dr. Wil Blechman, 1990-91 Kiwanis International president, touched every corner of the world through his insight, commitment and dedication. A Kiwanian since 1962, he capitalized on every opportunity to advocate for early childhood education — enabling children worldwide to reach their full potential. “Dr. Wil” served with excellence at all levels of Kiwanis, but his passion for helping children is his legacy. It is also impossible to calculate the number of Kiwanians he mentored and encouraged during his attendance at more than 46 Kiwanis International conventions and numerous Kiwanis conferences. Kiwanians have lost a friend and mentor.
