  • The number of books gifted in 2025 was 40,356,668. This was an overall 9.9% increase over 2024 and equals 3,642,044 additional books gifted. (This equates to a book mailed every 0.78 seconds).

Shopping for School Supplies

Our treasurer Bridget went on a shopping spree for school supplies with funds raised during back to school and summer BBQ fundraisers. On the pictures staff from King George School and Queen Elizabeth. In total 8 schools received supplies, each value at $500. Thanks to our volunteers and the partnership with Enbridge.
Bridget and Pam Ross (on the right) also went shopping for the H.W.Burgess P.S.

Music Festival Program now Available

The Program is now available for purchase at the Chatham music shops.

We found one misprint. In the PDF file we took to the printer, one class was not included on page 64. This is how the lower part of that page should have looked like:

Meet your adjudicator – Jordan Clayton

Strings, Instrumental & Bands

Jordan Clayton is a passionate violinist, violist, and music educator based in London, Ontario. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Violin Performance from Western University, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa. In addition to his work as a private teacher, Jordan is currently Music Director of the Forest City School for Strings, where he serves as conductor, senior chamber music coach, and violin class instructor.
