Give the Gift of Reading

The Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent is a proud partner of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. With the awesome support of the Chatham-Kent Community Foundation, the South Kent Wind Community Fund as well as from 100 Women Who Care, and more recently from CK Charity Classic, we were able to grow the program to more than 500 children. But every month we receive many new applications of parents who want to enroll their children so we need to add funds to keep this amazing program going.

For just $45 you will sponsor a child in Chatham-Kent for a whole year. That means a child in Chatham-Kent will receive 12 high quality, age-appropriate books. For $225 you’ll sponsor a child for the full 5 years, or in total 60 books. But of course any amount is welcome.

On-line donations are preferred

You can make your donations on-line. As mentioned above, you can choose any amount. Donating on-line is very secure and has the advantage that you will receive your tax receipt within minutes, mailed to your email address. Click here to go to the donate page.

But wait, there is more

You can also make a donation in somebody else’s name. You will still get the tax receipt. This year we have created certificates of donation that you can give to the person in who’s name you made the donation. We have several options. When you select a hard copy, please let us know your address so we can deliver it to you.
