KIWANIS SCHOLARSHIPS

The Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent invites students graduating from secondary school in 2026 and pursuing post secondary studies at a recognized institution to apply for one of two $1,000 scholarships.

Requirements for Eligibility

• current resident of Chatham-Kent
• pursuing post-secondary studies at a recognized institution upon graduation from secondary school in 2026
• demonstrated academic achievement (3-4 sentence summary highlighting academic accomplishments supported by a PDF copy of your official school transcript)
• participation in school/student activities (please list)
• community service and volunteering (please list)
• demonstrated good character (3-4 sentence summary of why you think you have good character supported by one letter of reference in PDF format)
• financial need (3-4 sentence summary explaining why you need financial support to continue your education)
• other interests (e.g. job, community sports or clubs, music, arts, drama, dance, hobbies)
• Intentions for post-secondary education and career
• Post-secondary institution you plan or hope to attend
