Kiwanis and Staples partner with local agencies in support of Operation Backpack

The Kiwanis / Staples “Start to Smart” partnership sees Staples raising the back to school funds and passing them on via Staples gift cards to Kiwanis for distribution within the community that the Staples store serves, as the club sees fit.  Despite uncertainty among many parents as to what the upcoming school year will look like, a long standing Chatham-Kent program “Operation Backpacks” operated by the local United Way will still be available for those in need. The Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent is pleased to be a partner making this program available along with Staples, The United Way. Enbridge, Chatham-Kent’s employmemnt and social services department, TekSavvy and Women’s United.
