Kati Pearson is a singer, dancer, actor, musician, and educator based in the Toronto area, but she has performed on stages across North America and beyond. Her training includes Bachelor degrees in Classical Voice (Queen’s University) and Musical Theatre Performance (Sheridan College), as well as a Master’s degree in Musical Theatre Performance (The University of Montana).
Some of Kati’s favourite performing credits include Bernarde in Leslie Arden’s The House of Martin Guerre, The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables, two contracts as Swing for Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Virginia, performing for seniors with Smile Theatre, and singing as a member of the Across the Pond duo with her best friend, Diana! Kati spent the 2024 season in Dawson City, Yukon, performing as the legendary Diamond Tooth Gertie at Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall – Canada’s oldest Casino. She is looking forward to being back onstage as Gertie from May – September this year.
A current member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, Kati has also worked extensively as a director, music director, choreographer, private music teacher, and audition coach. Her teaching philosophy is to offer students a safe and supportive environment to most importantly have fun, but also receive a valuable educational experience, and gain confidence in the performing arts.
Having grown up participating in music festivals, Kati knows firsthand the invaluable experience they provide. She can’t wait to see all the performances and wishes everyone a fantastic festival—break a leg!
