We have an important update regarding kiwanis.org and new measures we are taking to enhance its security as we roll out new features for our members.
Beginning August 26, we will require members to be logged into Kiwanis Connect to access resources within the Members section of kiwanis.org. These website pages include members-only resources and benefits exclusively for the Kiwanis family. This move will allow Kiwanis to:
Protect sensitive information. By placing certain content behind a secure login, we are safeguarding sensitive and valuable information. This measure protects our resources from being copied, misused or accessed by non-members and magnifies the value of a Kiwanis membership. Provide proprietary resources. Offering members-only content recognizes and rewards members for their dedication and involvement. This exclusive access is one of the many privileges of being a Kiwanian. Offer seamless and secure access. To access these resources, no new login credentials are required. Members will simply use their existing Kiwanis Connect username (email address) and password. Once logged into Kiwanis Connect, they will have seamless access to all members-only content on kiwanis.org as well as access to the Kiwanis Connect features, such as monthly reporting and members’ personalized dashboards. We will be communicating this change to the Kiwanis family and will ensure that Kiwanis staff is available to assist members. If you do not have a Kiwanis Connect login, one can be requested at members.kiwanis.org.
Please help us by communicating this important information to members/club leaders in your district. We will ensure that Kiwanis staff is available to assist members.
