Scholarships 2026

At last Wednesday’s Kiwanis meeting, we had the pleasure of presenting this year’s scholarships to Emma Raspburg and Riley Malott. For members who were unable to attend, we are pleased to share that both students represented themselves exceptionally well. Their presentations impressed everyone in the room, highlighting their maturity, responsibility, and the strong potential our committee recognized in them.

Our sincere thanks go to the Scholarship Committee for the thoughtful work that went into this year’s selections. Your dedication showed once again in the excellent choices you made, and the results were evident to all who met the recipients.

We would also like to acknowledge Derek for stepping in when the committee was short a member — your support was greatly appreciated.

Looking ahead, we are pleased to announce that Kiwanian Margaret Oxford will be joining the committee next year. Margaret is a retired elementary teacher whose experience and insight will be a valuable addition to the team. We trust that the rest of this year’s committee members are willing to continue their service as well.

Thank you to everyone involved for your commitment to supporting young people in our community.
