The Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent is pleased to announce its support for the upcoming Teen Transition Fair, scheduled to be held in October 2023, specifically tailored for teens with diverse abilities. To demonstrate its commitment to this important event, the Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent has made a generous donation of $1000.

This funding was made possible through the club’s active participation with Charitable Gaming Chatham-Kent, and serves as yet another example of how money spent at the local Riverview Gaming Centre directly benefits the community.

The Teen Transition Fair is a highly anticipated event that aims to provide valuable resources, information, and guidance to teenagers with diverse abilities as they navigate the various transitions they face in their lives. Organized by a dedicated group of community volunteers, the fair brings together local organizations, businesses, and experts to empower and support young individuals in their journey towards adulthood, regardless of their unique challenges.

The Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent firmly believes in the inclusivity and empowerment of all young people, regardless of their abilities. By supporting the Teen Transition Fair for teens with diverse abilities, the club aims to contribute to the positive growth and success of these individuals within the local community. This aligns with Kiwanis’ global mission to improve the lives of children and communities, fostering leadership skills, and promoting community service.
